therapy that doesn’t feel like therapy

No judgy vibes. No clinical jargon. No sugar-coating. Just honest, real support that meets you where you are—so you can feel clear, grounded, and like yourself again.

You’ve thought about therapy—but it always felt kinda... off.

Here’s the thing: most people aren’t avoiding help—they’re avoiding therapy that feels fake, clinical, or too “let’s circle back to your childhood” when all you need is help getting through your Monday.

And honestly, you’ve probably had one (or more) of these thoughts:

  • “If I need therapy, it must mean something is seriously wrong with me.” (spoiler alert: It doesn’t.)

  • “Why would I put myself out there just to be judged or misunderstood for  my identity, culture, or lifestyle?”

  • “I don’t want to trauma dump on a stranger.”

  • “I tried therapy once—it felt awkward, surface-level, or kinda useless.”

Here's the truth:

The problem isn’t therapy—it’s that you haven’t found the right therapist to work with yet. The right space. The right vibe.

Therapy should feel like a natural and honest conversation. A place where your weirdness is welcome, your identity is affirmed, and your voice matters.

MEET your new Therapist

Hey, I'm Stephanie!

I work with overthinkers, high-achievers, and people-pleasers ready to drop the mask and just be themselves.

No toxic positivity.

No patronizing advice.

Just grounded, collaborative care for real people navigating real life.

I’ve supported entrepreneurs, creatives, and everyday people trying to stay afloat in a chaotic world. I know what burnout, identity crisis, and “wtf am I doing with my life” feels like—because I’ve been there too.

You don’t have to show up polished. You don’t have to have the right words. Bring your full, unfiltered self—whether you’re quiet, chaotic, cynical, or unsure—and I’ll meet you with tools, insight, and the kind of grounding presence that feels like someone’s finally on your side.

You Deserve to Feel Like the Best Version of Yourself—Without Faking Any Of It

Ready to Get Started?

Step one

Book a Consult or Session

Schedule a complementary, no-pressure consult to ask your questions and see if we vibe, or dive straight in and book your first session.

Step two

Co-create Your Custom Plan

We’ll co-create a support plan based on what works best for you—and give you clear, actionable, steps to start implementing it.

Step three

Follow-up Sessions

Attend support sessions to review what's working, what's keeping you stuck, and make sure you have the tools you need to continue making real progress towards your goals.

Therapy should feel more like catching up with your long-distance bestie

who just happens to be a licensed therapist.

Together we'll work to:

  • Make peace with your past—without reliving every detail

  • Clarify your goals and actually move toward them

  • Build habits that support your brain, not fight it

  • Create a life that feels like it fits you

This isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about finding you—beneath the overwhelm, burnout, and “doing it all” pressure.

Therapy shouldn’t feel like a performance. It should feel like relief.

A safe place to show up messy, exhausted, or emotionally drained—and still be met with compassion, not critique.

Healing doesn’t happen when you’re trying to impress someone.

It happens when you can finally just be
real.

Struggling with any of this?

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained—and don’t know where to start

  • Struggling with boundaries, people-pleasing, or never quite feeling “good enough”

  • Navigating grief, heartbreak, or a major life transition

  • Exploring neurodiversity, identity, or relationships from a new lens

  • Craving space to unpack past experiences and rewrite the stories you’ve been carrying

  • Curious about personal growth, but need a safe space to process along the way

you're not alone

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s not “just talking” either. I bring a blend of evidence-based tools, intuitive insight, and a down-to-earth approach to our sessions.

Specialties + Areas of Focus

ADHD & Neurodiversity

No formal diagnosis or prescriptions required. If you’re feeling scattered, overwhelmed, or like your brain works differently than everyone around you, we’ll explore what’s actually going on — without labels, pressure, or judgment. Together, we’ll build systems and self-understanding that help you feel more focused, confident, and in control of your life.

Life Transitions

Big changes can feel destabilizing — even the ones you chose. Whether you’re becoming a new parent, starting over in your career, rebuilding after a breakup, or stepping into a version of yourself you’re still getting to know, I help you find your footing.

Together, we’ll process what’s shifting, make sense of the emotions that come with it, and move you toward a life that feels more aligned, steady, and grounded.

Career Guidance

You want a career that feels purposeful — not just something you tolerate to pay the bills. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, unfulfilled, or unsure of what direction actually fits who you are now.

Together, we’ll explore your strengths, passions, values, and the kind of work that genuinely lights you up. The goal: clarity, confidence, and a path forward that feels meaningful, aligned, and exciting to build toward.

Stress Management

Right now, you’re stretched thin, running on adrenaline, and constantly “pushing through.” I’ll help you slow down your nervous system, understand your triggers, and build healthier regulation skills so you can feel grounded, calm, and in control again.

Identity & Growth

You might feel like you’ve outgrown old versions of yourself — the roles you used to play, the expectations you carried, or the identity you thought you “should” have by now.

Or maybe you’re discovering parts of who you’re meant to become and it feels both exciting and uncomfortable.

In therapy, we explore your patterns, values, and inner world so you can understand yourself more deeply and step into a life that feels aligned, authentic, and genuinely yours.

Burnout

You’ve been carrying way too much for way too long — saying yes when you’re exhausted, being the reliable one for everyone else, juggling work, school, caregiving, or parenting, and powering through even when your body’s screaming for a break.

Burnout happens slowly, then all at once. Together, we’ll figure out what led you here, untangle the pressure and people-pleasing, and rebuild your energy, boundaries, and sense of balance so life feels lighter and actually sustainable again.

Productivity

You know what you want to get done — but procrastination, overthinking, or perfectionism keep slowing you down. Together, we’ll untangle what’s actually getting in the way, build realistic habits that fit your life (not someone else’s system), and help you move from stuck and spiraling to steady, focused, and making real progress again.

Relationships

Whether it’s with a partner, friend, family member, or someone you’re trying to set healthier boundaries with, relationships can get complicated fast. Maybe you’re stuck in the same arguments, questioning your worth, feeling unheard, or carrying old wounds into new connections.

Together, we’ll explore your patterns with compassion, rebuild your communication skills, and help you create relationships that feel safer, more supportive, and aligned with who you’re becoming.

Anxiety & Depression

Some days you’re doing “fine,” but underneath it you’re overwhelmed, checked out, or carrying a heaviness you can’t shake. Other days your mind won’t slow down — overthinking everything, spiraling at night, or feeling anxious about things that shouldn’t feel this hard. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, build coping tools that actually help, and move you toward a life that feels lighter, steadier, and more like you again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Describe Your Approach To Therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and totally judgment-free. No stuffy clinical jargon — just real conversations that help you understand yourself, break old patterns, and build a life that feels aligned, grounded, and more you.

I prioritize getting to know the real you and learning how to communicate in a way that feels supportive — whether that’s offering empathy and a soft place to land, or gently calling you out when you’re getting in your own way. Together, we look at what’s working, what isn’t, and the small, meaningful shifts that create real change.

What Sort of Clients Do you work with?

My practice is inclusive, affirming, and welcoming to everyone. I work mostly with Gen Z and Millennials — some brand new to therapy, others who’ve been in it for years — and I approach all clients through a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed lens. I meet you exactly where you are and help you work through whatever you need to grow into the version of yourself you want to be… even if you’re not totally sure what that looks like yet. You don’t have to have it all figured out — just show up as yourself, with a willingness to explore what’s working in your life and what’s no longer serving you.

What Type of Sessions Do You Offer?

I currently offer individual therapy sessions for adults (18+). Everything is online through a secure video platform, so you can show up from wherever feels the most comfortable — your home, your office, or even your car with an iced coffee before work.

I’m currently accepting clients for a free 15-minute consultation call (just to make sure we vibe) and standard 50-minute sessions, with the option of 75-minute sessions if you want a little more space to go deeper.

I also offer flexible scheduling, including some evening and weekend availability, to make therapy easier to fit into your real life.

Do you accept Insurance?

I don’t offer direct billing at this time. However, many extended health plans do reimburse sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

You’ll receive detailed receipts you can submit for reimbursement. Coverage varies by provider, so it’s best to check your plan for any of the following designations or services: Psychotherapy, Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

If you’re unsure, I recommend contacting your insurance provider prior to booking.

Do you only work with Clients in Canada?

Yes. Due to licensing and regulatory requirements, I currently work with clients who reside in Canada. You must be physically located in Canada at the time of each session.

Therapeutic Frameworks & Approach

I take an integrative, flexible approach to therapy because no two people are the same. I pull from a mix of evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities — things like SFBT, ACT, CBT, DBT-informed tools, mindfulness, attachment work, and nervous system regulation — but I use them in a way that actually fits you.

Think of it as a toolbox we get to personalize together. Some days you might need practical strategies, other days you might need space to process something deeper. We’ll move between both, at your pace, to help you understand yourself better, shift old patterns, and make real, sustainable changes in your life.

What to expect in our work together

A supportive space to be fully seen and heard

You don’t have to edit yourself here. Every part of you is welcome.

A gentle but strategic approach to healing

We’ll get to the root of what’s showing up, and build tools to help you move through it.

A pace that feels safe—not rushed

You set the tone. I’ll be right beside you, guiding with care and curiosity.

A neurodiversity-affirming lens

Whether you’ve been diagnosed, self-identified, or are just exploring, I offer support that honors how your brain works and what you uniquely need.

A therapist who gets what it’s like to rebuild

This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you come home to yourself.

Who I work best with

Adults trying to "figure it all out"

You’re a Gen Z or Millennial focused on building—or rebuilding—the life you’ve always imagined.

You’re ready to understand what actually makes you you—what drives you, what’s holding you back, and what patterns you’re ready to finally break. This is your space to untangle it all and finally move forward with confidence and clarity.

Founders, Dreamers or ADHD’ers

You’re a multi-passionate individual with big ambitions, ideas, and a million tabs open in your brain.

You’re craving clarity and direction without having to box yourself in. Together, we’ll figure out what truly works for you and come up with a plan that’s built for how you’re wired—so it feels sustainable, not overwhelming.

Individual Life Transitions

Whether you’re navigating a breakup, a move, a new job, a loss or a season of change in your life—you’re not the same person you were, and that can stir up all the feelings.

Get unwavering support from someone who’s been there and truly gets it—no more figuring it all out on your own.
